Becky Vasquez was a young medic in the US Air Force when drug runners attacked her while on a humanitarian mission in El Salvador.  While members of the party are wounded and dying, Becky and the others are betrayed and left to die by another party member, a man who Becky loved.

 Her zest for life lost, Becky accepts a job that she hopes will be routine and stress free on Mackinac Island in northern Lake Huron.  But Becky hadn’t counted on meeting dashing young Tim Green, himself running from a checkered past.  And neither of them counted on the sudden unexplained disappearances of boats and people in the waters surrounding the area.  When it appears an ancient curse is to blame, Becky and Tim are trust into a final confrontation with the unknown, all the while learning they can live and love again.

Premise, Storm Warning:

While in the Congo on a humanitarian mission, Mark Travis, a US Air Force medic is certian he's seen a dinosaur.  After ground workers are massacred by several deadly beasts, a diamond mine in the area is shut down due to the danger. The first female U.S.  President Crawford takes action.  She has the recently discharged Mark and two of his close friends Jim and Lori organize an expedition to go to the Congo to fully evaluate the situation.  The owner of the mine, Brett Jackson, is ruthless as he is greedy. He works with equally ruthless Vice President Haskins as they hire people to ensure  the expedition is wiped out. The mine can then be re-opened, and Haskins can ascend to the Presidency. Can Mark, Jim and Lori discover the plot in time, while trying to stay ahead of the Allosaurses?

 

                                  

Premise, Dark Autumn:

Dark Autumn tells the story of five young people, Alan, Angela, Bill, Carrie and Julie as they begin careers in space after Earth is discovered by another planet.  Earth is welcomed into the association of one hundred planets, and its technology brought up to date in exchange for trades of natural resources.  Things go well until the military leader of the planet Marvon, General Riken, captures an Earth science ship and threatens to execute the crew as spies. Angela is one of the crew captured.  Carrie comes up with a maverick idea to solve the crisis and avert all out war, and save her best friends life. Alan, Bill, and Julie must be the crew to pull it off. While they race against a Marvon space crew in a deadly scavanger hunt, General Riken plots to exceute the crew. Now Alan, Bill and Julie must not only win the scavanger hunt, but also rescue the crew and Angela before it is to late.

Other than my writing, I also have my "real" job, as a ophthalmology assistant.   I am an avid scuba diver, and am also learning about sled dog racing.

  Thus far all my dives are in the Great lakes, but I hope to have some tropical dives added to my resume soon!  I would love to hear from readers who also have dove and hear your stories!

I have Three Siberian Huskies, Tundra, Aurora and Kodiak.  I am in the process of training them for sled dog racing.  We are both learning  a lot!  Again, any readers with stories or advice on any of these subjects feel free to email me!  I would love to hear from you! 

I am also now an avid MoPedder   and love to go for relaxing rides in the country with my wife Kristi.
